Nation Of Go

The KDW Challenge Reunion Tour

Sep 29, 2009

BFGoodrich Tires has lots of great friends. Whenever you need someone to go fast or burn rubber, it’s not hard to find a little help. For example, this summer eight different shops brought cars to the KDW Shotgun Challenge in Las Vegas. With so many of them along our way, the Nation of GO Tour decided to check back in with the teams. It has become a reunion trip of sorts.

The KDW Shotgun Challenge put unsuspecting non-enthusiasts into the passenger seat of high-performance cars fitted with KDW tires. We wanted to see who could handle the full performance potential of the tires, so we put cameras in track cars, drift cars and rally cars. Then we gave 25 people the ride of their lives and watched to see who wanted more – and who just wanted out.

Big thanks to everyone who came out to Las Vegas and also met up with us on the Nation of GO Tour. Edmun and Nikki at Spoon Sports ran the RHD Civic Type-R. WORKS Motorsports ran their Time Attack Evo and Lars Wolfe’s Rally-prepped Evo. D & P Classic Chevy had the Yella Jacket Chevelle in Vegas. Rich Evans had his Hardcore Knight there too. Gateway Classic Mustang ran a 550 hp ’68 Mustang track car. Sam Hübinette ran his 800 hp Viper drift car. And Team Honda Racing ran their radical 500+ hp drift Element.

We were happy to catch up with everyone again, and we’re looking forward to having some more go-fast fun soon. After watching the video, check out the KDW Challenge to see all kinds of great passenger reactions. We found out not everyone has GO.
