The first thing we did when we picked up the Nation of GO Tour van was load it down with everything we needed for our trip. Things like camera equipment, boxes of T-shirts, and all the assorted gear seven guys would need to live on the road for three weeks. You might say we overloaded it. When we realized the shocks weren’t up to the task, BFG made a call for us, and Rancho stepped in to help.
To keep up with our intense blogging schedule, the Nation of GO Tour is working out of the van between stops. That means people on computers writing posts, retouching photos and editing video. With the back end of the van floating down the road like a small boat in large ocean swells, it was enough to turn your stomach. We knew we had two choices. We could get the shocks replaced or invest heavily in Dramamine.
We’d like to give a big thank you to
Rancho for putting together a solution in just a couple of hours. A set of 10-way adjustable heavy-duty shocks did the trick. We set them firm and headed out with a newfound respect for rebound damping.
